BRC Bavaria Bauer Rosenthal & Co Purple Flower Set 4 Chocolate Cups ca. 1900

Featured here is a set of four purple wildflower cups from BRC Bavaria, Bauer Rosenthal & Company, a partnership which lasted for 6 years between 1897 and 1903, before the company became known as Rosenthal, which still exists today. This set of four cups are handpainted with purple wildflowers on both sides, different scenes in pale lilac, purple, and green. The cups have a strong art nouveau appearance, with a scalloped edge and floral handle. They are in impressively good condition for their age, with no chips or cracks. There is some mild shelf wear and one stray green paint mark on the rim of one cup. See pictures for closer detail. There are no saucers included.
These appear to be chocolate cups as they are tall, each measuring 3.25” in height, 3.5” from handle end to rim edge, and about 2.75” wide at the base. The set weighs 1 lb prior to packaging.
