Collectible Wheaton Green Glass Rooster & Sun Storage Jar . Condition is Used. Emerald green glass lidded canister. One side is the sun and other is a rooster. Excellent condition, No chips or cracks. The lid is snug with plastic seal.

Founded in 1888 by Dr. Theodore Corson Wheaton, it became a mainstay of the economy of southern New Jersey, which gained a reputation as the center of commercial glass manufacturing in the United States.
The original Wheaton Industries' large variety of products, including recognizable consumer products, spawned a community of collectors. Many of the company's products are on display at the Museum of American Glassware at Wheaton Village, which remains a popular tourist destination.

I am not an expert in grading antique or vintage items, which is most of what I sell, but I always try to give an accurate description.
