vintage Finnish cinema lobby poster for the John Ford classic RIO GRANDE
starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara.
The film received its Finnish Premier in 1951 but received a second showing in 1964 and this poster dates from that second showing.
This particular poster is a standard Finnish lobby poster size, 60cm x 40cm approx.
Printed by Piirtopaino Oy and signed in the plate by the artist.
It is in nice shape and very striking.
Cinema-used and it appears that glue or paste was used to mount it, with residue staining to the verso. These show through on the image as greenish blotches but because of the dark blue background. They are not THAT noticeable but obviously a flaw you could do without.
