    Description

Here we have a lot of twelve
    estate-fresh pieces of mid-century modern
    Rosenthal
    porcelain
    bread
    plates.
    The whimsical-minimalist
    Rendezvous
pattern was designed (and "signed" on the back) by renowned industrial designer Raymond Loewy, and it pairs a delicately-rendered rendezvous spot -- a gazebo in the woods -- with his modernist sensibility.
    Rendezvous
, in production from 1957-1964, was done in beige with a dash of two fabulous fifties' turquoise-aqua-teal blue tones, on a creamy white, continental-shaped blank. We have other pieces of this pattern in our store, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.
These 6" diameter bread plates are also practical for small plates, appetizers, and small desserts.
    Condition
    :
We are very tough, conservative graders, so we never use the term "mint" to grade vintage items such as these. We have personally hand-checked every single piece in this set, and we can find no signs of them ever having been used, so we award them our highest possible grading, "Near Mint Plus." Bright, shiny, fresh pieces, very clean, and as like-new as nearly 50-year-old china can be. No chips of any size, cracks of any size, crazing, stains, or silver/gray utensil marks. We weren't even able to find any colorless glaze scratches.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (
    or anything else
) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
    We're happy to
combine shipping at actual cost on all pieces
    purchased and paid for
    on one single invoice/order.
In order to take advantage of this shipping cost savings, you must, must, must combine all of your pieces into one order and pay for all of them at once.
The easiest way to do this is to place items in your cart, and then to purchase them as a group from your cart.
If you're unable to get the Ebay checkout to combine your items into one order, do not pay. Back out of that mess and shoot us a message instead, asking for a combined invoice, and then wait to pay from that.
    The Fine Print:
We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
