Description
This Limited Edition 1st Run numbered #0011 Wheaton Glass Decanter "1876 William Mason" comes with the original box, and cork! This commemorative decanter is a great piece in the history of glassmaking in Milleville, New Jersey dedicated to the "William Mason 4-4-0 steam locomotive.The "William Mason" is on display at the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. It was built for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, carrying that railroad's number 25. The locomotive was named in honor of its builder, William Mason, who built around 754 steam locomotives at his Mason Machine Works firm in Taunton, Massachusetts, from 1853 his death in 1183.
Purchased at an estate sale, makes it pre-owned but it is in excellent condition.
