Pair of Rosenthal Claire Pink Rose , Green & Gold Dessert Plates C. 1891 - 1906
Pair of beautiful porcelain plates in the Claire blank. Nicely decorated with large pink roses , fancy gold gilding, and a green and double gold border. Marked on the reverse in green with a crown over R. C. Claire Bavaria. This mark was used between 1891 and 1906.
These have some wear to the gilding. One plate has a small gilded over glaze flake to the edge and the other has a very small gilded over flake to the edge. No additional chips or cracks.
Each plate measures approximately 7 3/4 inches wide.
These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the pieces.
