We are offering for your consideration an exquisite, 11.50 inch Cake Plate bearing the Phillip Rosenthal & Company Porcelain factory mark from Kronach, Germany, Oberfranken. The company was founded in 1897. This mark was used from 1928 – 1935. Vibrant orange and white poppies with black stamens are set among lush leaves. A background in muted colors of pink, blue and green complement the poppies. Two gold handles shaped like a bow and a scalloped outer rim trimmed in gold add elegance to this special piece. EXCELLENT ESTATE READY TO USE CONDITION WITH NO PAINT OR GOLD WEAR, NO CRACKS, CHIPS OR CRAZING.
Any white spots in the gold are from photo lightening. A wonderful piece to serve pastries on for your invited guests.
