RARE 10.5" Antique Rosenthal Vase Maid Holding A Candle by Pickard Artist Grane

Beautiful and RARE 10" antique Rosenthal vase, beautifully painted, featuring a maid holding a candle. The maid is wonderfully lit by the candlelight. Dominated by many shades of brown, with a gold trim on the bottom and top. Decorated and signed by a very accomplished Pickard Studio artist Grane. However,
it has NOT been done in the Pickard Studio, as this piece is not marked with a Pickard stamp
. Grane was one of the most renowned Pickard Studio artists, working for Pickard between 1898 and 1905. Some of his work is featured on pages 101 and 102 of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China. The vase is an estate find from Chicago area. Please note that it is REPAIRED on the rim, as shown in the pictures (it looks like an old repair).
Condition: Sold AS IS, with the repair on the rim, and several small scratches on the surface. A little bit of repainting over the repaired area. Otherwise, there are no chips, nicks, cracks, or any other damage. It looks and displays very well. Generally clean, with a small amount of dust on the bottom (we did not wash it).
