Rosenthal Selb US Zone Porcelain Creamer & Lidded Sugar Blue Rose Winifred Shape

The item for sale is a porcelain creamer and lidded sugar that were made by Rosenthal in Selb, Germany shortly after the end of the Second World War.  During this time, parts of Germany were occupied by USA and other counties.  The pieces are marked U. S. zone.  The porcelain is decorated with blue rose blossoms and leaves.  There are also light blue bands with gold garlands.  Finally, there are gilded accents and heavy gilding on the handles. The pair was previously owned.  The condition is essentially the same as when the items were made. There are no chips, cracks, wear nor other types of damage.  There is no wear to the gilding.  The dimensions of the creamer are 6 1/2" x 4" x 3 3/4".  The dimensions or the sugar are 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2".
