Vintage Fish Bottle "Doctor Fisch's Bitters" Bottle Millville NJ Wheaton Industries
This Fish Shaped bottle is made by the Wheaton Industries, a company that was founded in 1888.  It is marked on one side "Doctor Fisch's Bitters" and on the other side "Millville New Jersey". It was made in an antique mold and is marked on the bottom "Wheaton NJ". It is opaque white and has all the details of a fish on the surface.  I have owned the bottle for many years, it was new when I bought it and it has never been used.  The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks nor damage of any kind. It is 7.5 inches tall and weighs about 1 pound.
Wheaton Industries is a spin-off of the original factory that was founded by Theodore Walker in 1888 and was the mainstay of the economy in Millville NJ.  They manufactured glass bottles.  The company was operated by several generations of the same family until recent years when it was sold to a large corporation.
