    Description

    Vintage Rosenthal vase with Raymond Peynet design on the front of a couple (the lovers) standing in the rain under a stack of 7 umbrellas, with singing birds on top of each one. The back side has a bird with an umbrella in his beak - the falling "raindrops" are musical notes! Vase is 8 5/8" tall. Signed “Peynet” on front just to the right of couple’s legs. Marked "Rosenthal Germany" in green on bottom. It has a small chip on top rim. See photos.
